The Nexus 7 Clone Army case by CruzerLite is one of my favorites from the company. This case features dozens of classic little Android mascots lined up on the back of a semi-translucent TPU material, with cutouts in all the right places to protect your device without obstructing its features. Unfortunately this case is not ribbed on the sides, making it more prone to slipping in your hand, though some may prefer the glossy texture of this case over the grippy sides on other cases such as CruzerLite’s Androidified A2 series.
The Nexus 7 slides right into the frame of this case and fits snugly; once it’s on, the case isn’t coming off until you want it to. There are cutouts for the Power and Volume buttons, micro USB port, and 3.5 mm headphone jack, as well as a long slit in the back for the speaker grill and a cavity for the pogo pin connectors.
In my experience, this case has not shown any signs of wear and tear, even after a month of use. This is likely thanks to the way the design is implemented on the case; rather than being painted on, the Android mascots are imprinted into the material – this means there’s no paint to wear or peel off, which was a problem I saw in the Persona DNA case for the Galaxy S III. I highly recommend this case to any Android enthusiasts that want to protect their Nexus 7 in style! Click the link below to purchase your own!
